(2) According to the petitioner, he was engaged as Data Entry Operator in the O/o Executive Engineer, Uttarkhand Jal Sansthan, Uttarkashi in the year 2003 and he is serving continuously as such, eversince then. The grievance raised by the petitioner is that his claim for regularisation has not been considered so far, even though he has put in more than 22 years of service. (3) Mr. Pankaj Chaturvedi, learned Counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, however, submits that petitioner was given contract for supply of manpower and, instead of supplying some manpower, he supplied himself for working as Data Entry Operator. Thus he submits that the status of the petitioner would be of contract labour. (4) Be that as it may, since petitioner has made representation to the competent authority i.e. Executive Engineer, therefore, writ petition is disposed of by directing the Executive Engineer to consider and decide petitioner’s representation, as per law, within ten weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
