This is an application under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Special NDPS Case No. 155/2022(A) pending in the court of the learned Addln. Sessions Judge, Sribhumi. 3. The present petitioner Lalrousangi has been shown as an absconder in the charge sheet. He now apprehends that if he appears before the trial court, he will be remanded to custody. Page No.# 2/2 4. Mr. Choudhury submits that the petitioner Lalrousangi has been unnecessarily arraigned in this case and therefore the petitioner deserves to be given one opportunity to that effect. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. Since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial, he deserves to be given an opportunity to that effect. Therefore, his application his allowed. 7. The petitioner Lalrousangi is directed to appear before the trial court within next 15 days from today. On his appearance, the petitioner Lalrousangi shall be allowed to go on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Addln. Sessions Judge, Sribhumi.
