By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has challenged the select list of Assistant Research Officer (Statistical) general recruitment competitive examination dated 10th June, 2024 prepared by the U.P. Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The grievance of the petitioner was that his candidature was wrongly rejected whereas Mr. Akhilesh Mumar Maurya, learned Advocate holding brief of Mr. Siddharth Singhal has placed instructions before this Court and according to which the expert Committee has found that the certificate of post graduation diploma obtained by the petitioner from Sri Ram Sevak Singh Education Group of Institute, Jaunpur is not recognized one as this group of institute is sponsored by Maharshi Dayanand Education Group and Sri Ram Sevak Singh Education Group of Institute, Jaunpur is not affiliated or accredited to any recognized University or institute. Instructions placed before the Court is taken on record and a copy whereof is also supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the above, since petitioner's certificate of diploma is not recognized one and the decision taken by the respondent Commission to non suit the petitioner on the post in question is held to be sustainable, petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed.
