Petitioner possesses B.Ed. qualification and she has challenged validity of Rule 9(Ka)(2) of Uttarakhand Government Primary Education (Teachers) Service Rules, 2012 in so far as it prescribes requirement of having 50% marks in graduation for appointment as teacher in a Government Primary School. 4. Learned State Counsel submits that since B.Ed. is no more a valid qualification for appointment as Primary School Teacher and similar petition challenging the aforesaid provision of Rules of 2012 has been dismissed by this Court vide judgment dated 03.06.2025 in WPSB No.479 of 2021, therefore, this Writ Petition also deserves to be decided in terms of the judgment rendered in WPSB No.479 of 2021, which is produced before us. 2025:UHC:6603-DB 5. After going through the said judgment, we find substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel that controversy has been laid down to rest in the aforesaid writ petition. 6. In such view of the matter, the present writ petition is also decided in terms of the judgment rendered in WPSB No.479 of 2021. 7. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
