Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that against the punishment order issued against the petitioner, there is alternative remedy available to the petitioner under the law, as he may file an appeal before the appropriate forum, which the petitioner has not availed. 2. Learned State counsel has not objection to the said submission. 3. In view of above, the petitioner is directed to file the relevant appeal before the appropriate appellate authority within a period of 15 days from the copy of this order and, in turn, the concerned appellate authority is directed to consider and decide the appeal within a period of 45 days from the date of filing of the appeal, in accordance with law. 4.
