CRL MP No. 716 of 2025 ORDER This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to the 2 nd respondent herein in Crl.OP No.23262 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024 on the file of this Hon'ble Court. 2.This Court, while granting anticipatory bail to the 2 nd respondent had imposed a condition that he shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only), with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that he shall report before the respondent police on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four weeks. The above said conditions has not been complied by the 2 nd respondent. Hence, the present petition has been filed for canceling the anticipatory bail. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 1 st respondent police have not taken any steps to arrest the 2 nd respondent/accused even though he has neither come forward to execute the sureties and nor appeared before the 1 st respondent police. 5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the 1 st respondent police submitted that the 2 nd respondent has not complied with the condition and has also not appeared before them. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
CRL MP No. 716 of 2025 6.Considering the submissions, this Court is of the view that the 2 nd respondent has wilfully not obeyed the condition imposed by this Court in para No.6 and 6(a) in Crl.OP No.23262 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024. 7. Accordingly the anticipatory bail granted by this Court in Crl.OP No. 23262 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024 is cancelled.
