GP FOR LAND ACQUISITION (AP) The Court made the following Order: Challenging the notification issued by the respondent No.2 vide Ref.G4/497/2019, dated 03.03.2020 under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, whereby proposed to acquire the petitioner’s agricultural lands to an extent of Ac.0.66 cents covered by Sy.No.406-1, Ac.2.40 cents covered by Sy.No.406-2 and Ac.0.32 ½ Cents covered by Sy.No.412-4 situated at Tapeswaram village, Mandapeta Mandal, East Godavari District in order to issue house site pattas to the beneficiaries, the instant writ petition is filed. 2. Heard Sri Bolla Venkata Rama Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 5. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed on record a copy of the written instructions received from the 4threspondent-Tahsildar. A perusal of the same would reflect that the District Collector, East Godavari, Kakinada has issued notification under Section 93(1) of Land Acquisition Act 2013, withdrawing the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the subject lands as alternate land was identified. It is further stated that the Government has dropped the proceedings as they have taken alternate land for the said “Navarathnalu PedalandarikiIllu” scheme. 4. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed, accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
