JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER Date : 28.05.2025 Learned counsel prays that this application has been filed praying for withdrawal of the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) which is deposited before the Registry of this Court while preferring the appeal against the Judgment and Order dated 08.08.2023, passed by the learned Member, MACT in MAC Case No. 322/2021. Learned counsel submits that at the time of filing the appeal the petitioner company had deposited an amount of Rs : 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) as a statutory deposit before the Registry of this Court. It is submitted that the appeal was listed before the Lok Adalat and the same has been amicably settled between the parties and a direction had been given to the petitioner company to deposit the amount awarded by the Hon’ble Tribunal. In view of the settlement the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the statutory amount of Rs: 25,000 /- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) deposited by the petitioner at the time of filing the appeal. Prayer is allowed. The petitioner/applicant is allowed to withdraw the statutory amount which was deposited before this Registry at the time of filing the appeal.
