Petitioners want certain sugarcane purchase centres to be allocated to a private sugar mill. 3. Admittedly, reservation and assignment of sugarcane purchase centre is made by the Cane Commissioner in accordance with the provisions contained in U. P. Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) Act, 1953. If any person is aggrieved by such reservation or assignment orders, remedy of appeal is available in the Statute. Without laying challenge to the reservation or assignment orders no writ can be filed for acceptance of the proposal or for allocation of specified cane purchase centre to a private sugar mill. 4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Dismissal of this petition, however, will not preclude the persons aggrieved from challenging reservation or assignment orders before the competent forum.
