PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding the Section 528 of BNSS, to quash Crime No.177 of 2024 of Rompicharla Police Station, Palnadu District. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners herein are arrayed as Accused in Crime No.177 of 2 2024 of Rompicharla Police Station, Palnadu District, for the offence punishable under Sections 296, 196(1), 352, 353(1), 61(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 67 & 67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000. During investigation, the Police added Section 111 (2) (3) of BNS. He would further submit that the allegations against the petitioners herein would not constitute offence under Section 111 (2) (3) of BNS. It is only with a view to harass the petitioners herein, Section 111 (2) (3) of BNS is added by the Police. 3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State submits that the Police have executed PT Warrants against the petitioners herein. 4. Considering the fact that the PT Warrants were executed against the petitioners herein, no further orders are required to be passed in the present Criminal Petition. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
