By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is posted as faculty member in Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Central Bank of India, Baikunthpur, District Koriya on contract basis is seeking quashment of the advertisement dated 15.02.2025 and a direction towards the respondent authorities for renewal of his appointment in the post of faculty member in Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Central Bank of India, Baikunthpur, District Koriya. and also direction towards the respondents for payment of pending salary for the month of September to December, 2024. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during his tenure in the post of Rural Self Employment Training Institute on contract basis the respondent/ bank has issued an advertisement dated 15.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) inviting application for contract basis which is not permissible under the law. He further submits that the salary for the month of September to December, 2024 is still pending and the same is not disbursed to the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent/ bank on instructions submits that the respondent/ bank has decided to keep the advertisement dated 15.02.2025 in abeyance and the renewal of application of the petitioner on the post of Rural Self Employment Training Institute has already been sent to Zonal head Office of the Central Bank, therefore, 3 / 3 nothing is left to adjudicate in this writ petition. He further submits that as far as the pending salary of the petitioner for the month of September to December, 2024 is concerned, the same will also be released within stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents annexed. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents/ Bank, as the advertisement dated 15.02.2025 has already been kept in abeyance and the application for renewal of appointment has already been sent to Zonal Head Office of the respondent/ bank, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent/ bank to release the pending salary of the petitioner for the month of September to December, 2024 within a period of 20 days from today. 6.
