Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed on record a copy of the written instructions received from the Tahsildar, dated 18.02.2025. A perusal of the same would reveal that since the petitioners and other landowners did not come forward to give consent for acquisition, an alternative land was identified in the adjacent village viz., Jegurupadu, which is nearer to the subject village. Hence, vide proceedings of the Collector, D.Dis.G4/RJY/KDM/KADIAM/497 /2019, dated 25.02.2021, the withdrawal notification under Section 93 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, was issued. 4. Since the proposal for acquisition of the present lands has been withdrawn, no further directions are required to be issued. 5. The written instructions of the Tahsildar, dated 18.02.2025 are placed on record. 6. In view of the foregoing, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
