The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "(a). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the restoration application dated 30.05.2024 under section 209 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 filed in Case No. 02757 of 2019 (T201903390202757) Anamika Mishra Vs. Kumud Lochan, under section 34/35 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006, pending before Tehsildar, Tehsil Kannauj, District- Kannauj within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. From perusal of the writ petition and annexures annexed thereto, it appears that the aforementioned restoration application is pending since 2024 before respondent no.2 for adjudication. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. The present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No. 2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Kannauj, District- Kannauj to consider and decide the aforementioned restoration application in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
