In a sweeping intervention aimed at giving new life and vigor to the enforcement phase of litigation, the Supreme Court has asked all the High Courts to initiate robust monitoring systems and administrative accountability after finding thousands of execution petitions pending nationwide. 3. The Supreme Court in “Periyammal(dead) through LRs & ors. Vs. V. Rajamani and anr, Etc., 2025 INSC 329”, has directed to complete execution proceedings within six months from the date of filing. 4.
