In Para No.7 of the aforesaid reply, it has been submitted that in view of the conclusion of the two independent inquiries conducted by the office of the Assistant Inspector General (NRI Wing), Ludhiana and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (South), Ludhiana, the allegations levelled by respondent No.8 were found to be baseless and unsubstantiated. It was further submitted that no inquiry or investigation was being conducted or contemplated against the petitioner or his family members by the concerned police authorities.
