This contempt petition has been filed, alleging disobedience of order dated 22.08.2025 passed by writ court in WPMS No. 2489 of 2025. By the said order, respondents were asked not to take any coercive action against the petitioner and also to de-seal his office, provided he deposits a sum of Rs. 10.00 lakh in the Registry of this Court within ten days. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has deposited a bank draft, amounting to Rs. 10.00 lakh in the Registry of this Court on 26.08.2025. He submits that despite abiding by the condition of the order passed by writ court, furniture and other goods lying in the office of petitioner have been seized and they have been put for auction. 4. Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions. Today, on instructions, he submits that office of the petitioner was de-sealed pursuant to the order passed by this Court; however, there was no clarity as to whether 2025:UHC:7700 articles seized from office of the petitioner have to be returned or not, therefore that was not done. 5. Having regard to the facts of the case, contempt petition is disposed of by directing that articles, including furniture seized from the office of petitioner, shall be returned back within 48 hours.
