Petitioner was engaged through an outsourcing agency, namely, UPNL in State Tax Department to discharge duties as Date Entry Operator. According to him, he served as such for about seven years and his services were thereafter discontinued vide order dated 31.03.2023. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after disengaging petitioner, other similarly situate outsource employees were taken back in service, however, petitioner was denied similar treatment, therefore, petitioner has approached this Court. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court in WPSS No. 524 of 2025 has permitted some of the similarly situate persons, to approach Commissioner, State Tax by making a representation, therefore, petitioner be also permitted to make representation to the Commissioner, State Tax for his reengagement. 7. Learned State Counsel submits that 2025:UHC:7638 he has no objection, if petitioner is permitted to make representation to the Commissioner, State Tax. 8. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to make representation to Commissioner, State Tax, within ten days from today. If he makes representation within stipulated time, Commissioner, State Tax shall consider petitioner’s prayer for re- engagement, as per law, and pass appropriate order, within three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
