SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.2625 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner herein/A3, seeking anticipatory bail, in connection with Crime No.5 of 2025 of Ramasamudram Police Station, Annamayya district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for i'he offences punishable under sections 115(2), 140(4) and 109(1) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya f Sanhita, 2023 (for short lthe BNS'). 3. Case of the prosecution is that four months Prior tO the date of incident, one Hemanth of Dasarlapalli village eloped with i ) - one Jayasree, who is the younger sister-in-law Of the de faCfO complainant, and married her, for which the de facto complainant and` his relatives strongly objected for their inter- caste love marriage and a quarrel took place between them. while so, on 19.01.2025 at about 01.30 pm, while the de facfo complainant along with his uncle namely Reddeppa was drinking tea at Mr. Chay Tea Shop, situated at Chembakur Road - ELIIIi 2 r/ Ramasamudram town, Al to A4, the relatives of Hemanth and some others, came there on two wheelers and stating that the de facfo complainant had done excess in the issue of Hemanth, Al caught hold of his shirt, by telling to take him and-kill, torn his shirt and beat him with hands on his cheeks. ,.Remaining accused kicked the de facfo complainant and forcibly took him by Al and A3 on the scooty and made him to sit in the middle of them to the soap nut tree situated at Mulbgal road and tied him with rope and beat him with hands and sticks and caused him blunt injuries on his cheeks, back and stomach with l'ntend to kill \l`', ;I...`' him. A2 picked up a knife available with him from his pant Packet by raising Cries tO kill him and attempted to stab him. .I Then the de racfo complainant raised cries and on hearing his cries the neighbours rushed there and on seeing them the accused ran away from the spot. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that a quarrel ensued between the de facfo complainant and the accused when one Hemanth, the relative of Al to A4, contracted love marriage with Jayasree, who is the younger sister-in-law of the c/e facfo complainant. For the said reason, Al to A4 be'lng the relatives of Hemanth are alleged tO have kidnapped the de faCfo complainant and attempted to kill him. Even going by the FIR, all the accused are alleged tO have beat the de faCfo compla'lnant with hands and sticks w-lth intend to kill h'Im. It is represented that A1, A2 and A4 were granted bail by the tr.lal court. The petitioner herein/A3 is a student Studying B.Com. 6.
