This Application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the applicant - Sharat Chandra Sindhwani, aged about 78 years, informant – victim to direct the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun to decide the Criminal Case No.5645 of 2019, “State vs. Smt. Suman Sharma”, as expeditiously as possible. 2. According to the prosecution, the respondent no.1 – accused, aged about 65 years, has portrayed herself as the informant’s wife, although she is not married to him. 3. Heard Mr. R.P. Singh, learned counsel for the 1 2025:UHC:8048 applicant and Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the respondent no.2. 4. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, Assistant Government Advocate has not opposed the submission of the applicant. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun is directed to expedite the proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.5645 of 2019 and conclude the proceedings as per law and as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties. 6.
