Present criminal writ petition has been filed by the petitioners along with compounding application (IA No.1/2024) for quashing the FIR No.341 of 2024 dated 01.07.2024, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 365, 504, 506 IPC, registered with Police Station Gangnahar Roorkee, District Haridwar.

A Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 26.09.2024 directed the parties to the proceedings to appear before the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Haridwar on 01.10.2024 at 02:30 P.M., who, in turn, was directed to record the statements of parties and verify the contents of the affidavits filed along with the compounding application.

From perusal of the compliance report, it is evidently clear that both the parties have entered into compromise and there is no dispute pending between them as they have settled their disputes amicably. Parties were also duly identified before the said authority.

In this view of the matter, Compounding Application (IA/1/2024) is allowed.
The First Information Report No.341 of 2024 dated 01.07.2024, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 365, 504, 506 IPC, registered with Police Station Gangnahar Roorkee, District Haridwar are hereby quashed. Consequently, all the subsequent proceedings pursuant to the impugned FIR automatically shall come to an end.

Present criminal writ petition stands allowed accordingly.

Pending application, if any, stands disposed off accordingly.
