This is a writ under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein following prayer is made:- "I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 09.10.2024 passed by Respondent No.3 (Annexure No.1 to this writ petition). II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the Respondent No.3 for considering the candidature of the petitioner regarding Application Form No.BPC16953156229153 dated 22.09.2023 by receiving the initial security deposit amounting Rs.30,000/- in pursuance of advertisement dated 28.06.2023 published by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. as early as possible." 3. Upon perusal of the documents, it appears that the petitioner could not pay the initial security deposit due to server error of the respondent website. The respondent authorities have given two opportunities to the petitioner to pay the initial security deposit but due to server error the petitioner could not pay the same. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they are willing to make payment by way of demand draft physically within a period of seven days. 4. In light of the above, the petitioner is directed to make deposit of the initial security deposit within a period of seven days from today. If the said deposit is made by way of demand draft to the respondent authorities, the respondent authorities are directed to process the application of the petitioner, in accordance with law. 5. In default, the respondent authorities shall be at liberty to proceed with other candidature, in accordance with law. Accordingly, order dated 19.10.2024 is quashed and is set aside. 6.
