Learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that the present petition is filed at a belated stage in the Year 2002. It is further submitted that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Helper and thereafter was promoted to the post of Carpenter, however petitioner never challenged the letter wherein
[2025:RJ-JP:5181] (2 of 2) [CW-1927/2002] his post was reflected as helper and not carpenter. Therefore, as the impugned order and the letter of appointment was not challenged in due time, the prayer made by the petitioner becomes non-tenable. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner was approximately aged 50 years at the time of filing of petition, therefore, at present, the petitioner has already attained the age of superannuation. Considering the arguments advanced by the respondents, and upon a perusal of the Court file, this Court deems it apposite to dismiss the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, stands disposed of.
