01. The instant contempt petition arises out of an Order/Judgment dated 12th January, 2023, passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 3035/2022, by virtue of which, the writ petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of in the following manner:- “Having regard to what has been stated above, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and disposed of the representation dated 1st December, 2022 filed by the petitioner and also consider the release of old security deposits worth Rs. 62, 57,510/- (Sixty-two lacs, fifty-seven through and five hundred ten) pending since 2020 along with all liabilities within a period of four Sr. No. 44 Regular List HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR CCP(S) No. 148/2023 in WP(C) No. 3035/2022 M/S. Mr. Jahangir Ahmad Dar, learned GA appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that he has filed a fresh compliance report on 27th March, 2025. However, the same is not traceable. Copy of the same furnished to this Court by Mr. Jahangir Ahmad Dar, learned GA has been taken on record. 03. From the bare perusal of the compliance report so filed, it is apparently clear that the respondents have taken a specific stand that they have duly considered the claim of the petitioner in the light of relevant record and the rules and accordingly admitted dues in favour of the petitioner along with security deposit amounting to Rs. 1,71,77,112/- have been released in favour of the petitioner with all liabilites. The respondents with a view to fortify their claim, have also placed on record the WDC bills along with the compliance report. 04. Thus, in the light of the stand taken by the respondents in the compliance report, nothing remains further to be adjudicated upon in the instant contempt petition.
