Mr. Anil Anthwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. N.K. Papnoi, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Mr. B.D. Pande, learned counsel for respondent no. 3 - Commission. 4. According to petitioner, she was selected in a selection held by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (in short “Commission”) for the post of Assistant Librarian, however, she could not present herself for documents verification in the Office of Commission before the deadline indicated in the notification. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- (i) A suitable writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 3 to provide a last opportunity to the petitioner (Roll No. 1201290077) on humanitarian ground permitting her to appear for document verification providing a one of the post according to her preference i.e. the post of Deputy Librarian bearing Post code No. 818/710/67/2024, Librarian and Information Assistant bearing Post Code No. 818/418/67/2024 and Assistant Librarian having post code number (464/518/67/2024). 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner 2025:UHC:7639 submits that petitioner has made a representation to the Chairman of the Commission on 17.08.2025. 7. Mr. B.D. Pande, learned counsel for the Commission, however, submits that it is not known whether the representation, which is enclosed with the writ petition, was actually served in the Office of Chairman or not. 8. In such view of the matter, let petitioner make fresh representation seeking extension of deadline fixed by the Commission for documents verification. If petitioner makes such application within 48 hours, through e- mail, the Competent Authority in the Commission shall take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within seven days thereafter. 9. Let certified copy of this order be supplied to petitioner today itself, on payment of usual charges.
