The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for commanding the Respondents to release an amount of Rs. 5,37,784/- for the works allotted to him by the Respondents. 02. From the perusal of the pleadings on record, it emerges that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, an application bearing CM No. 1120/2025 was filed by the Respondents for permitting them to deposit the amount before the Registry of this Court, which application stands allowed by this Court vide Order dated 18th of March, 2025 and the amount so sought to be deposited has been ordered to be kept in a fixed deposit. 03. Mr Waseem Gul, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the Respondents, submits that the amount in lieu of the works executed by the Petitioner stands already deposited in the Registry of this Court. 04. The Petitioner has also moved an application, being CM No. 1886/2025, seeking release of the amount so deposited by the Respondents before the Registry of this Court. 05. In view of above, the aforesaid amount of Rs. 5,37,784/-, sought to be released by the Petitioner through the medium of this Writ Petition and deposited by the Respondents before the Registry of this Court, is ordered to be released in favour of the Petitioner after his due identification by his Counsel, along with interest, if any accrued thereon. 06. Writ Petition shall stand disposed of on the above terms, along with all pending miscellaneous applications.
