Heard learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the Respondent No. 2 to decide the restoration application dated 21.08.2024 filed by the petitioner against the order dated 21.07.2024 passed in Case No. 2103 of 2023, Computerized Case No. D2023150600002103 (Harishchand vs. Tehsildar and others), pending before him within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court." 3. From perusal of the writ petition and annexures annexed thereto, it appears that the aforementioned restoration application is pending before respondent no.2 for adjudication. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. The present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No. 2, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), District Azamgarh to consider and decide the aforementioned restoration application in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
