1. The State Of Rajasthan, Through Its Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Secretariat, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
2. The Director, Treasury And Accounts Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
3. Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Through Its Secretary, Agriculture Management Institute Building, Durgapura, Jaipur, Rajasthan. ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ram Pratap Saini For Respondent(s) :
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SAMEER JAIN
Judgment 26/03/2025 At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner by way of this writ petition has made a prayer that she may be granted the Divorcee category reservation, pursuant to the advertisement dated 20.06.2023. It is further submitted that the petitioner has scored marks more than the cut-off marks as released by the respondents qua the ‘Divorcee’ category. Upon a perusal of the material available on record and considering the contentions made by the learned counsel, it is noted that the cut-off date for submission of application forms along with the relevant reservation category claim and documents
[2025:RJ-JP:13742] (2 of 2) [CW-3655/2025] substantiating the same, under the said advertisement is stated as 12.07.2023, however, the petitioner had procured her divorce decree on 17.02.2024. In view of the above noted facts, it is deduced that the petitioner on the cut-off date as stated in the advertisement for the said examination was not having the requisite divorce decree and hence cannot be considered to be eligible to contend her category as divorcee. Accordingly, the present petition being bereft of any merits, stand dismissed. Pending application(s), if any shall stand
disposed of.
