This application has been filed under Section 389 of the CrPC praying for suspension of sentence imposed upon the applicant Sofiar Rahman @ Sofiour Rahman by the learned Sessions Judge, Goalpara in Sessions Case No.123/2017. 3. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 4. The application of the applicant is allowed. 5. The sentence imposed upon the applicant Sofiar Rahman @ Sofiour Rahman by the learned Sessions Judge, Goalpara in Sessions Case No.123/2017 shall remain suspended till disposal of the connected criminal appeal. 6. The applicant Sofiar Rahman @ Sofiour Rahman is allowed to go on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Goalpara.
