Learned counsel on both sides identified their respective parties. 3. In view joint memo filed by the parties and for the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the respondent No.1 is permitted to compound the offence as per Section 320(6) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for brevity ‘the Cr.P.C.’) and Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. 4. Resultantly, the Judgment dated 09.07.2008 in Crl.A.No.71 of 2008, on the file of the learned Special Sessions Judge-cum-IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Guntur and the order dated 07.08.2007 in C.C. No.305 of 2007, on the file of the learned V Additional Munsif Magistrate, Guntur are hereby set aside, acquitting the petitioner under Section 320(8) of ‘the Cr.P.C’. 5.
