By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents for payment of compensation towards the land of the petitioner which has been acquired for construction of Sakti- Tundri Road in the year 2015-2016. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is owner of land bearing khasra No. 234/1 area 0.142 hect situated at village Adhbhar, P.H.N. 08, R.N.M Adhbar Tahsil Adhbhar, Dist. Sakti, which has been utilized by state for construction of Sakti-Tundri 3 Road, but till date no compensation has been paid. He further by referring to the Panchnama submitted by Revenue Inspector to Tahsildar submits that the Revenue Inspector has stated that the land of the petitioner has been utilized for construction of the Sakti-Tundri Road. He further submits that the petitioner has also submitted representation before the respondent authorities, but till date, no steps have been taken for acquisition of the land which has been utilized for construction of Sakti-Tundri Road in the year 2015-16. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the appropriate authority i.e. SDO (Revenue) / Land acquisition Officer, Malkharoda will verify the grievance of the petitioner by making a spot inspection, in presence of the petitioner and if the land of the petitioner is found to be used for construction of Sakti-Tundri Road, necessary steps will be taken, in accordance with law, for payment of compensation to the petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents i.e. Panchnama and the representation filed by the petitioner i.e. Annexure P-2. 5. Perusal of the documents shows that the land of the petitioner has been utilized for construction of Sakti-Tundri Road and no compensation has been paid to the petitioner till date. 6. Considering the same, Respondent No. 4 i.e. SDO (Revenue), Malkharoda, Dist. Sakti is directed to make a spot inspection 4 within 50 days from today, in presence of the petitioner and verify the grievance raised by the petitioner regarding utilization of his land for construction Sakti-Tundri Road and if it is found that the land in question is utilized for construction of Sakti-Tundri Road ensure payment of compensation to the petitioner in accordance with law. 7.
