By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to permit the petitioner to deposit the remaining rice which is assessed after joint verification of the FCI, MARKFED, State Government and the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though there is no shortage is found in joint verification in the case of the petitioner, however, the respondent authorities are not accepting the CMR rice as directed by this Court vide order dated 12/02/2025 passed in WPC No.849/2025. 3 / 3 3. Learned counsel appearing for the MARKFED submits that the rice which has been found to be accepted that has been mentioned in the joint verification report annexed with the petition and the FCI is accepting the same. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent/ FCI submits that the verification of the custom milled rice has been made and after verification, 379.05 quintal rice are to be accepted. The FCI is ready to accept the rice which is mentioned in the proforma for physical verification of paddy of KMS 2023-24. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 6. Looking to the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, the petitioner is directed to approach the FCI today itself and the rice as stated by the FCI i.e. 379.05 quintal which is quantified after verification be accepted in accordance with the order dated 03/02/2025 passed in WPC No. 697/2025. 7.
