JUSTICE RAJESH SEKHRI, JUDGE ORDER 27.10.2025 Petitioner has invoked writ jurisdiction of this Court for the release of balance amount of Rs. 9,59,224/- along with interest @ 18% per annum. The case set out by the petitioner is that he was allotted various contracts in R&B Division Kulgam, which he successfully completed within the stipulated time. Part payment was released in his favour and the subject amount is still outstanding despite preference of various representations on his behalf and issuance of legal notice. Mr. Syed Aashiq Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he will be satisfied in case respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner within a time frame. His statement is taken on record. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of by providing that respondents shall consider the claim of the petitioner, raised in the present Sr.No. 11 2 WP(C) No. 2563/2025 petition within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order along with copy of the present petition and annexures are made available to them.
