Petitioner is permitted to implead Insurance Ombudsman as respondent no.4 to the present writ petition. It is alleged that petitioner had availed of a health policy and the claim raised thereunder is not being accorded consideration by the S.B.I. General Insurance Company Ltd. without specifying any reason etc. If that be so, the remedy of the petitioner would be to approach the insurance ombudsman, who would be the competent authority to deal with such matters. In such circumstances, we provide that if such a claim is made within two weeks from today, annexing all materials in support of the claim, the concerned Ombudsman is requested to accord consideration to such claim of the petitioner by passing appropriate orders, within a period of three months, after notice to the Insurance Company, expeditiously.
