RAMACHANDRA RAO =O=R=D=E=R= 22/08/2025 Heard counsel for the petitioner as well as counsel for the respondent. [2] This petition has been filed under Section 24 of CPC seeking transfer of T.S.(RCR) 01 of 2025 from the file of the Additional District Judge, Sepahijala Tripura, Bishalgarh to the Family Court, Agartala, West Tripura. [3] Petitioner contends that she is staying in Agartala with her aged parents, and Sepahijala, where the case pending, is 20 kms away from Agartala. She is a young girl and there is no member of her family to escort her to that place and, therefore, the case should be transferred to Agartala. It is also contended that Crl. Misc.184 of 2023 had been filed by her before the Family Court, Agartala under Section 125 Cr.P.C and that the respondent is contesting the same and it would be convenient to transfer the case referred to above to the Court at Agartala. [4] Though the respondent has entered appearance and filed the counter affidavit opposing the transfer petition contending that it is not difficult to anyone to travel 20 kms, the respondent has not disputed that the petitioner is staying in Agartala with her parents. Even if the respondent was willing to bear the transport cost, no difficulty faced by the respondent to attend the Court at Agartala is pointed out. [5] Therefore, the instant petition is allowed and T.S.(RCR) 01 of 2025 of the file of Additional District Judge, Sepahijala Tripura, Bishalgarh is transferred to Family Court, Agartala, West Tripura. Parties shall appear before the said Court on 15th September, 2025 at 10.30 a.m. [6] Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. (M.S.
