The present application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed to quash the order dated 31.08.2024 passed by Session Judge, Mau in Criminal Revision No. 154 of 2022 (Afzal Vs. State of U.P. and others) whereby the revisional court affirmed the order dated 31.03.2022 passed by Judicial Magistrate, Mau in Complaint Case No. 1462 of 2021 (Afzal Vs. Badrujjma and others), whereby the complaint has been dismissed under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. After some arguments, learned counsel for the applicant does not want to press this application and wants liberty to file an appropriate application/ proceedings before the court of competent jurisdiction. Certified copy of the order may be returned to the learned counsel for the applicant after retaining a xerox thereof.
