Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned counsel for the respondents-University. The petitioner is seeking for the following reliefs : “i) Issue a writ, order of direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner on the post of Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumaun University, Nainital. ii) Issue any other or further writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. iii) To award the cost of the petition in favour of the petitioner.” 2. We have queried the learned counsel for the petitioner, as to whether any representation has been submitted to the employer/ first respondent, to which the learned counsel would answer in the negative. 1 2025:UHC:7686-DB 3. In that view, we are of the opinion that the instant Writ Petition could be disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation, seeking absorption/ regularization of his services. The representation shall be filed before the third respondent, and if such representation is filed, then respondent nos. 2 & 3 shall, within three months thereafter, consider and dispose of the same, strictly in accordance with law. 4. The Writ Petition stands ordered accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _______________ G.
