Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. This petition has been filed with the prayer to command the respondent authorities to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 7.9.2024, regarding illegal encroachment over their land No. 1097, area 0.1250 hectares, situated at Mouja Benipur, Pargana Kaswar Raja, Tehsil Rajatalab, Varanasi by private respondents No. 5 to 11. 3. There appears a dispute relating to the demarcation of the petitioners' plot as well as possession over it. Such disputes can always be resolved in appropriate proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 4. Since such proceedings are already pending, we do not find any occasion to interfere. It is, however, provided that the pending proceedings, under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, would be concluded expeditiously after giving notice to the aggrieved persons, preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. 5.
