17 Sukh Ram & Ors. Vs. BBMB & Ors. CWP No. 1066/2019 08.07.2025 Present: Mr. S.M. Goel, Sr. Advocate with Mr. Paras Dhaulta, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Aman Sood, Advocate, for the respondents. CMP Nos. 1125 & 1144/2025 These applications plead that petitioner No.1 passed away on 16.11.2023. He is survived by his legal heirs detailed in para-4 of the application bearing CMP No.1125/2025, who are required to be brought on record. Necessary documents in support of averments made in the application have also been appended. For seeking condonation of delay in making such prayer, CMP No. 1144/2025 has also been moved under Section 5 of the Limitation Act. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 3. In view of the explanation given in both the applications, the proposed legal heirs of deceased petitioner No.1 have made out a case for their impleadment in the writ petition as petitioner No.1(a) to 1(d). Hence both the applications are allowed. Delay in moving the application for bringing on record the legal heirs of the deceased-petitioner No.1, is condoned. Consequently, CMP(M) No.1144/2025 is allowed. For the same reason, CMP(M) No. 1125/2025 is also allowed. Legal heirs of deceased-petitioner No.1 mentioned in para-4 of the 18 application [(CMP(M) No.1125/2025)] are ordered to be brought on record as petitioners No.1(a) to 1(d) in the array of parties. Amended memo of parties be filed within one week. Registry to carry out necessary corrections in the cause title. Both the applications are disposed of. CMP No. 15287/2025 The applicants/petitioners seek to place on record development subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, more particularly the judgment dated 18.09.2024 passed in LPA No. 1996/2016 a/w connected matters (Balbir Singh (since deceased) through His LRS Vs. Bhakra Beas Management Board and Others). Heard. In view of the pleadings & submissions made, the prayer is allowed to the extent that the judgment appended therewith is taken on record. The respondents/non-applicants shall be at liberty to place on record documents pertaining to the aforesaid decision. Application to stand disposed of.
