GP FOR HOME (AP) 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 7251 of 2020 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue appropriate writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the impugned actions of the respondents no. 3 and 4 in calling the petitioners at the instance of 5th respondent day-in and day-out to the 3rd respondent police station as highly Illegal, Arbitrary and Violative of Article 19 and 21 of the constitution of India and consequentially direct the respondents 3 and 4 not to harass the petitioners nor implicate them in false cases, except under due process of law and to pass….” 2. Heard Sri T.M.K Chaitanya, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the police are calling the petitioners to the police station, without there being any crime registered against them. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the police are not calling the petitioners to the police station, since no crime has been registered against them. 5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
