Hon'ble Donadi Ramesh,J. Petitioner is aggrieved by non-consideration of claim for payment of assured sum under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. The claim is on account of death of petitioner's wife. Learned counsel for the respondent-Bank states that no such claim in accordance with the laid out procedure has been submitted by the petitioner and therefore, it has not been feasible for the authorities to accord consideration to such claim. According to the petitioner the death had occurred on account of snake bite and the deceased was insured under the scheme for which premium was being paid. In the facts of the case, we permit the petitioner to approach the second-respondent along with details in respect of the claim under the two policies together with a copy of this order within two weeks. The concerned bank shall get the claim of the petitioner verified and an appropriate decision in terms of the scheme would be taken within a period of three months.
