Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 95 of 2025 arising out of Kowali P.S. Case No. 258 of 2024 for the offences registered under section 304(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned A.J.C-V, Ranchi. 3. On 28.09.2024 at 9.00 p.m., three unknown persons snatched the gold chain of the sister-in-law of the Informant outside the Ranchi Post Office. During the course of investigation, petitioner was apprehended in connection with another case of chain snatching. The petitioner confessed his guilt and gold chain was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 4. Seized gold chain was put on the T.I. Parade in which the Informant identified it as the chain which was snatched from his sister-in-law. 5. Mr. Fahad Allam, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is an accused in as many as sixteen cases. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J) Ranjeet/ Uploaded
