JUSTICE LANUSUNGKUM JAMIR ORDER Date : 21.04.2025 Heard Mr. M. K. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. P. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, AFDC and Mr. U. Das, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, for the respondent No. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved that the Fishery, which was settled in his favour, suffered damages due to devastating flood and erosion and accordingly, he represented before the authorities for re-fixation of the yearly revenue on the basis of the reports from the Revenue authorities by representation dated 24.01.2025 before the Managing Director, Assam Fishery Development Corporation Limited. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the representation dated 24.01.2025 is yet to be considered by the respondents till date. Mr. P. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, AFDC, on instructions submits that the representation dated 24.01.2025 made by the petitioner before the Managing Director, AFDC/respondent No. 3 would be disposed of within a period of 2 (two) weeks from today. Recording the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel, AFDC, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 3 to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 24.01.2025 in accordance with law within a period of 2 (two) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this Court’s Order.
