Although the petitioners want consideration of their claim in accordance with the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, yet we find that neither any details are mentioned with regard to the land over which the petitioners claim possession nor the period during which the petitioners claim to continue in such possession are specified. 3. In such circumstances, no useful purpose would be served in directing the respondents to decide the petitioners' application. 4. The present writ petition is, accordingly, consigned to records. 5. However, petitioners would not be precluded from approaching the District Magistrate concerned by making fresh representation clearly disclosing the nature of right asserted by the petitioners, who would get the same examined as per rules applicable.
