JUSTICE CHILLAKUR SUMALATHA) Heard Sri.Ravi B.Patil, learned counsel for the writ petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Advocate who represents respondent Nos.1 to 3. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:2315 WP No. 201087 of 2025 2. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the petitioner No.1 is the Member of Bilhar Gram Panchayat and petitioner No.2 is an organizer of stage dramas. On the eve of Jatra of Hazarat Chahu Hussain Bhasha which is proposed to be conducted near Darga of Bilhar village, Wadagera Taluk, Yadgiri District from 17.04.2025 till 19.04.2025, the petitioners sought permission from the Tahsildar, Wadagera Taluk to permit them to organize stage drama. A representation seeking such permission was submitted on 27.03.2025. However, there is no response till now. The petitioners also sought necessary approval from the jurisdictional police and the jurisdictional police issued NOC on 04.04.2025. However, the same was modified through letter dated 07.04.2025. Learned counsel states that due to involvement of politicians, officials are not responding to the request of the petitioners and hence, necessary orders may be passed. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:2315 WP No. 201087 of 2025 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that taking into consideration the law and order situation, subjecting to scrutiny the particulars of the event i.e., drama to be performed with due regard to objectionable and other circumstances which may prevail in the said drama, permission will be accorded by the Tahasildar. 4. Having considered the submissions thus made, this Court is of the view that as Jatra is scheduled to commence from 17.04.2025, necessary directions in that regard are required to be given. Hence, this writ petition is disposed of with the following: ORDER i. Respondent No.1-Tahasildar, Wadagera is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2025 and pass necessary orders by 2.00 p.m. of 16.04.2025. - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:2315 WP No. 201087 of 2025 ii.
