JUSTICE S. DATTA PURKAYASTHA Order 13.09.2025 The case has been taken up in the National Lok Adalat today. Both the parties namely, Sri Litan Saha @ Lington and Smt. Sabitri Das (Saha) are present. After conciliation, they have arrived at the settlement in the following terms: “1. The monthly maintenance allowance @ Rs.2,000/- per month shall be paid by the petitioner-husband to the respondent-wife from the month of October, 2025 within 7th day of every English Calendar month depositing the amount in the savings bank account of the respondent- wife as furnished by her submitting a photocopy of the first page of her savings bank passbook. 2. As regards, the arrears maintenance of Rs.56,000/- [Rupees Fifty Six thousands] only for which the instant case was filed and the arrear due thereafter till the month of September, 2025, the petitioner-husband shall pay Rs.40,000/- [Rupees Forty thousand] only depositing the amount in the savings bank account of the respondent-wife within first week of December, 2025. 3. Photocopy of the first page of the bank passbook of the respondent- wife is received by the petitioner-husband for the above purpose. 4. In case of default, the respondent-wife shall take recourse to the process of execution.” The terms of settlement are reduced into writing and signed by the parties and the conciliators. The same may be kept in the record. Accordingly, this criminal revision is disposed of with the above said terms and condition. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
