Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J. 1. This writ petition is pending since 2007 i.e. for last 18 years. 2. Today, Sri Vishnu Behari Tiwari, learned counsel for petitioner is not present. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner has challenged the order dated 08.06.2007 passed by Joint Director of Education, Kanpur Mandal, Kanpur as well as order dated 23.06.2005 passed by Pension Adalat whereby claim of petitioner to revise pension was rejected on a ground that prayer to grant second promotional pay-scale after 24 years of service was rejected on a ground that petitioner has got promotional scale in the year 1995 and he got retired in very next year. 4. I have considered averments of writ petition and I am of opinion that there is no illegality in impugned orders since above referred facts appear to be undisputed. Otherwise also, since learned counsel for petitioner is not present, therefore, relief sought cannot be granted. 5. Accordingly, writ petition lacks merit, hence, dismissed. 6.
