It is the case of the petitioner that he is a street vendor, who earns his livelihood near Pant Park area, Mallital, Nainital for a long; he is not being provided space by the respondent authorities, despite the representation having been made by the petitioner. It is submitted that the last representation was made by the petitioner on 28.10.2020. He would submit that the petitioner may be granted a liberty to move a fresh representation within a week before the respondent no. 4, which may be decided by him expeditiously. Learned State Counsel gives a statement that in case such a representation is made by the petitioner within a week, the same shall be decided by the respondent no. 4 within four weeks thereafter. The Court takes on record the statement made by the learned State Counsel. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the petitioner to move a fresh representation before the respondent no. 4 within a period of a week from today.
