ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the non registration of crime by the 4th respondent i.e. the Station House Officer, Kasibugga Police Station on the complaint of the petitioner dt.05-03-2020 and for not arresting the accused as being contrary to the provisions of the SC And ST (P.O.A)Act, 1989 r/w the Amended Act, 2015 and in contravention of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court rendered in Dr. Subhash Kashinath Mahajan Vs. State of Maharashtra (2018 (1) ALD (Crl.) 629 (SC) and another and consequently declare the action of the 4th respondent as amounting to neglect of duties and liable for penal action.”

Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that, the matter is purely civil in nature and the Police never interfere with the civil issues unless there is a direction from the Court. 3. Sri S.Tulasi Das, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that recording the same the petition may be disposed of. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
