(ORDER) 20.12.2025 This application has been moved by applicants/claimants seeking release of the rest of the award amount granted by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Pulwama, which has been upheld by this Court in Mac Appeal No. 37/2022 vide judgment dated 27th of November, 2025. In the application, it has been submitted that the awarded amount to the tune of Rs. 93,46,320/- has been deposited by the appellants before this Court in terms of Order dated 18th of August, 2023, out of which 50% of the amount was released in favour of the applicants/claimants vide order dated 21st of November, 2023 and that, on dismissal of the appeal, the applicants/claimants are entitled to receive the rest of the award amount along with interest accrued thereon. Though, there is no report from the Registry with regard to the deposit of whole of the award amount, however, it is ordered that if the whole award amount has been deposited by the appellants before the Registry, as claimed by the applicants/claimants, then same be released in favour of the applicants/ claimants along with the interest, subject to their identification by the counsel representing them before this Court and of course with the charge of Court fee, if any.
