Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This petition has been filed for the following relief: "a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 23.07.2022 passed in case no. 8976 of 2019 (Annexure 10 to this writ petition) and order dated 03.6.2024 passed in Revision No. 707 of 2023 (Annexure 12 to this writ petition)." 3. Against an order of mutation, the petitioner has preferred a revision under the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 which has been dismissed on the ground that against the order impugned, an appeal is maintainable and not a revision. 4. Since, revision has not been dismissed on merits and it has been dismissed only on the ground of remedy of appeal, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the statutory alternative remedy as available to him under law.
